Back in 2019, two talented metal musicians, CC McKenna on drums and Doug Weiand on lead guitars, embarked on a unique musical voyage. They fused their diverse metal influences with a touch of alchemy, the occult, and esoteric elements, creating something truly extraordinary. Little did they know that the missing piece of their musical puzzle was about to emerge as DEATH DEALER UNION.

Enter Lena Scissorhands, the frontwoman of Infected Rain, a prominent modern metal band. With her arrival, a musical alliance was forged, propelling the band into the studio alongside producer Valentin Voluta, known for his work with Infected Rain. Together, they crafted their highly-praised debut collaborations, "Borderlines" and "Beneath The Surface." These tracks made their debut in 2022, accompanied by visually captivating music videos that have garnered nearly 1 million views on YouTube to date.

Now, DEATH DEALER UNION is back, joined by two new members, Hunter Havokk on rhythm and lead guitars and Jonny Heinz on bass. Together, they are gearing up to present their inaugural offering to the world, "Initiation." Set for release on September 22, 2023, via Napalm Records, "Initiation" promises to deliver the same massive sound and enthralling visuals that fans have come to expect from the band, while also introducing a fresh array of musical and lyrical elements.

While each track on "Initiation" possesses its own unique character, they collectively weave a captivating narrative, leaving listeners eager for more of DEATH DEALER UNION's distinctive sound. The album commences with the evocative instrumental title track, delving into electronic nuances and spine-tingling organ melodies. This sonic journey seamlessly transitions into the album's first single, "The Vow of Silence," an adrenaline-pumping track featuring aggressive verses and an irresistible chorus, all brought to life by Valentin Voluta's expert production.

"Ill Fated" takes us on a journey through 80s-influenced clean guitar passages intertwined with sinister metallic riffs, showcasing Lena Scissorhands' dynamic vocal range and thought-provoking lyrics. As the album unfolds, "The Integument" picks up the pace, infusing traditional power metal elements before transitioning into a haunting and hypnotic musical landscape. Tracks like "Ekphrasis" and "Mythos," the latter boasting a breathtaking guitar solo, pay homage to the chunky riffs of 90s heavy metal and even draw inspiration from the nuances of nu-metal.

But DEATH DEALER UNION doesn't stop there. "The Big Blue," "Back To Me," "The Downfall," and "Anew" explore various metal styles, ranging from symphonic power to progressive, showcasing the band's diverse musical versatility. The album takes a poignant turn with the heartfelt heavy ballad "Love Me When I'm Ugly," delivering emotive lyrics and melodies that tug at the heartstrings.

Finally, "Initiation" concludes with "Beyond Heaven," an opulent composition filled with expansive harmonies and eerie embellishments, bringing the album to a theatrical and unforgettable close.

Prepare yourself to be initiated into the captivating and enigmatic world of DEATH DEALER UNION as they unveil "Initiation" on September 22, 2023. This debut album promises an electrifying journey through the realms of heavy metal, featuring haunting melodies, powerful riffs, and the unmistakable voice of Lena Scissorhands.
